Where is the Ísafjörður cruise port?

Isafjordur harbour lies on the sandspit beside the town centre. Most cruise ships berth at Sundabakki, the main cruise quay with three berths; smaller ships use Mavagardur or Asgeirsbakki. Larger ships, or ships arriving when the quay is full, anchor in the fjord and tender passengers to a landing near the quay. The heritage museum is a few minutes' walk away.
