Where is the Seyðisfjörður cruise port?

Seydisfjordur harbour lies at the head of the fjord, beside the village. Cruise ships berth at the South Pier (Strandarbakki, 170 m) or the North Pier (Bjolfsbakki, 150 m), or anchor just offshore and tender passengers to a 20-metre floating dock near the ferry terminal. The South Pier is shared with the international ferry, so cruise docking there is restricted on ferry days.

The village is known for its colourful wooden houses and the pale blue church at the end of a rainbow-painted street. The Gufufoss waterfall sits beside the road that climbs over the Fjardarheidi pass towards Egilsstadir.
