Where is the Cagliari cruise port?

Cruise ships berth at Molo Rinascita (West 480 m, East 450 m and South 115 m berths, 11 m depth) in the historic port, where a 1,000 m2 cruise terminal opened in 2016. Walking freely inside the port is not allowed, so a free shuttle links the ships with the port gate on Via Roma.

Piazza Matteotti, with the railway station, ARST regional buses and city buses, is about 190 m (3 minutes' walk) from the passenger terminal. Cagliari-Elmas Airport is about 10 km away.

About Cagliari

Cagliari is the capital of Sardinia, on the island's south coast. Its hilltop Castello quarter, behind medieval walls, holds the cathedral, towers and archaeological museum, while the Marina quarter and the arcades of Via Roma line the waterfront by the port. Poetto beach and the Molentargius flamingo lagoon are a short ride east, and the Roman ruins of Nora are within reach.

The port handles both transit and turnaround calls. Ships berth at Molo Rinascita, where a cruise terminal opened in 2016, and a free shuttle runs to the port gate on Via Roma, about 3 minutes' walk from Piazza Matteotti.
