About Portofino

Portofino is the Italian Riviera's most celebrated village, a tiny horseshoe harbour of pastel houses, superyachts and cafe terraces at the tip of a wooded promontory. From the Piazzetta, paths climb to the Church of San Giorgio and Castello Brown for views over the bay, and on to the lighthouse at Punta Portofino.

The protected Portofino Regional Park offers coastal hikes, including the trail to the medieval abbey of San Fruttuoso, also reached by boat. Elegant Santa Margherita Ligure is just along the coast.
