About Island Princess
Island Princess is a 92,822 GT Princess Cruises ship completed by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire in June 2003 and sized for the original Panama Canal locks. She carries 2,210 guests and 900 crew, and was christened in Vancouver by Olympic skating champions Jamie Sale and David Pelletier. A 2015 refit in Trieste added new cabins and rebuilt her aft areas.
