Where is the Grand Turk cruise port?

Ships dock at the Grand Turk Cruise Center pier on the southwest coast; there is no tendering. The pier leads straight into the complex, with a beach, pool, Margaritaville and duty-free shops a few minutes on foot.

Cockburn Town is about 6 km north by road. Roads have no sidewalks and the Government Dock blocks the shoreline, so take a taxi or rental vehicle from outside the gates.

About Grand Turk

Grand Turk is a small, flat island about 10 km long and the seat of government of the Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Overseas Territory.

Its capital, Cockburn Town, keeps a waterfront of British-Bermudian colonial houses from the salt-raking era, the National Museum shows Lucayan artefacts and shipwreck finds, and an 1852 cast-iron lighthouse stands at the northern tip.

Most cruise visitors stay at the Cruise Center by the pier or take a short taxi to Governor's Beach or town. Prices are in US dollars.
