Where is the Motril cruise port?

Cruise ships dock in the Port of Motril, a commercial port south of the town near Playa Granada and the Varadero district. There is no cruise terminal building: passengers walk off onto the quay, where excursion coaches wait.

A reception centre for cruise passengers on the Graneles quay is planned but not built. Motril's town centre is a few kilometres inland, so a taxi, shuttle or excursion is needed.
