Busan Cruise Port is South Korea’s largest cruise port and one of the busiest cruise hubs in Northeast Asia. Located on the southeastern coast of the Korean Peninsula, Busan serves as a major gateway for cruises sailing throughout Asia, including itineraries to Japan, China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

The port offers modern cruise facilities with efficient passenger processing, immigration services, and convenient access to the city. Its proximity to Busan’s city center allows cruise passengers to easily explore popular attractions such as Jagalchi Fish Market, Gamcheon Culture Village, Haeundae Beach, and Busan Tower.

Travelers arriving at Gimhae International Airport have several transportation options to reach Busan Cruise Port:

1. Taxi

Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminals.

2. Airport Limousine Bus

Airport limousine buses provide comfortable transport to Busan city center.

Passengers can travel to Busan Station, located approximately 1.5 km from the cruise terminal, and then continue by taxi.

3. Metro (Subway)

Busan has an efficient metro system connecting the airport to the cruise port area.

Route:

  • Take the Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit from Gimhae Airport

  • Transfer to Busan Metro Line 1 at Sasang Station

  • Travel to Busan Station

From Busan Station, the cruise terminal is approximately 5 minutes by taxi or 15–20 minutes walking.

Busan Port International Passenger Terminal

Busan Port International Passenger Terminal

The Busan Port International Passenger Terminal is the main cruise terminal and one of the most modern in Asia. Opened in 2015, the terminal was designed to accommodate the growing number of international cruise passengers visiting South Korea.

  • Passenger Capacity: over 5,000 passengers per day

  • Berth Length: up to 360 meters

  • Ship Capacity: accommodates large cruise ships including Oasis-class vessels

Yeongdo Cruise Terminal

The Yeongdo Cruise Terminal serves as an additional cruise berth used primarily during peak cruise seasons and for large ships.

It is located on Yeongdo Island, just across the harbor from the main Busan cruise terminal.
