Where is the Aqaba cruise port?

Cruise ships berth at the Aqaba Cruise Terminal in the Marsa Zayed waterfront development, opened in 2023. Its long quay takes two large ships at once, and the terminal has passenger and luggage halls and indoor shops. The fort and seafront of central Aqaba are about 2 km away.

About Aqaba

Aqaba is Jordan's only port, at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea. Cruise ships berth at the Aqaba Cruise Terminal at Marsa Zayed, which can take two large ships at once. Most passengers head inland on excursions: Petra lies about two hours north by road and the desert of Wadi Rum is closer. In town, the seafront and the Mamluk-era fort are near the centre, and coral reefs line the coast to the south.
