The castle grounds, with the rebuilt Otemon Gate, are free to walk; a common ticket for the six paid historic facilities, including the history museum, costs 800 yen for adults.

Udo Jingu Shrine

Udo Jingu is a vermilion shrine set inside a sea cave on the cliffs of the Nichinan coast, reached by a path above the waves. Visitors try to throw clay "lucky stones" into a hollow in the turtle-shaped rock below the shrine. The shrine grounds are free.

Sun Messe Nichinan

Sun Messe Nichinan is a hillside park overlooking the Pacific, best known for its row of full-size moai replicas. Admission is 1,000 yen for adults, 700 yen for junior and senior high school students and 500 yen for children aged 4 and over.

Aoshima Shrine

Aoshima Shrine stands in a subtropical grove on a small island linked to the shore by a footbridge, ringed by wave-cut rock shelves. There is no admission charge for the shrine.
