About Mitsui Ocean Sakura

Mitsui Ocean Sakura was delivered on 28 May 2010 by T. Mariotti in Genoa as Seabourn Sojourn, the second of Seabourn's three Odyssey-design ships, and was named in London by her godmother Twiggy. Seabourn announced her sale to Mitsui Ocean Cruises in March 2025 and chartered her back until her last Seabourn voyage, a 129-day world cruise, ended in Vancouver on 15 May 2026. Renamed Mitsui Ocean Sakura, she arrived in Yokohama on 30 May 2026, went into drydock in Nagasaki, and sailed her debut cruise from Yokohama under the Japanese flag on 19 September 2026. After the refit she measures 34,138 GT and carries 458 guests in 229 rooms.
