Norwegian Cruise Line's Terminal B at PortMiami, affectionately known as "The Pearl of Miami," is a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance the embarkation and disembarkation experience for passengers. Opened in August 2021, this terminal reflects Norwegian Cruise Line's commitment to innovation, efficiency, and passenger comfort.

Size and Capacity 

Spanning approximately 190,000 square feet, Terminal B accommodates ships carrying up to 5,000 passengers. The terminal's design facilitates efficient passenger flow, ensuring a seamless boarding process.

Design and Architecture

The terminal boasts a modern architectural design, featuring expansive waiting areas and efficient check-in and information desks near the boarding zones. Its contemporary aesthetics contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for travelers.

Environmental Considerations

Terminal B has achieved LEED Gold Certification, reflecting its adherence to environmentally friendly practices and energy-efficient systems.

Proximity to Airports

  1. Miami International Airport (MIA): Approximately 7 miles away, with an estimated driving time of 15-20 minutes.
  2. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL): Roughly 26 miles away, translating to a 35-45 minute drive.

Parking Facilities 

Adjacent to Terminal B is Garage B, operated by the port and offering convenient parking options for cruise passengers. Effective January 1, 2025, the parking rate is $35 per vehicle, per space, per day. 

 

Transportation Options From Miami International Airport (MIA):

By Car: Take FL-836 E to I-395 E, then follow signs for PortMiami via the PortMiami Tunnel, leading directly to N. Cruise Blvd.

Public Transit: Utilize Metrorail's Orange Line to Government Center Station, transfer to the Metromover to Freedom Tower Station, and then use the free City of Miami Coral Way Trolley to cross the PortMiami Bridge.

Transportation Options From Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL):

By Car: Take I-95 S to Exit 2D toward I-395 E/Miami Beach, then follow signs to PortMiami via the PortMiami Tunnel, leading directly to N. Cruise Blvd.
