CRUISE TERMINAL
The new passenger terminal at the Port of Tangier, aka Port de Tanger Ville, has been thoughtfully designed to cater to both cruise ships and fast ferries, offering substantial infrastructure for maritime travelers. This dedicated area, known as the "Pole Cruise Port of Tangier City," is geared towards enhancing the reception and safety of cruise passengers, including those aboard the largest cruise ships in the world. Here are some key features:

Berth Expansion: To accommodate the grandest cruise vessels, significant development work has been carried out. The primary objective is to ensure that cruise passengers enjoy top-notch facilities and safety measures. Three berths have been specifically designated for cruise activities, with the most extensive berth stretching an impressive 360 meters in length.

Phase One Completion: The first phase of extending the cruise quay, directly connected to the main pier, was successfully completed by the end of 2013. This extension has substantially increased the port's capacity, enabling it to regularly host cruise liners measuring up to 330 meters in length. This upgrade has significantly enhanced the port's capability to handle larger vessels, offering convenience and accessibility to travelers embarking and disembarking from their cruises in Tangier.

Overall, the passenger terminal at the Port of Tangier represents a commitment to providing a world-class experience for cruise passengers, with modern amenities, safety measures, and the capacity to handle some of the largest cruise ships, further establishing Tangier as a prominent destination in the Mediterranean cruise circuit.
