AIDA Cruises to open 2021 cruise season with AIDAperla on March 20

Updated:

AIDA Cruises will restart the 2021 cruise season with AIDAperla on the Canary Islands from March 20th. The Spanish archipelago on the north-west coast of Africa is a popular holiday destination for German travelers who want to enjoy "eternal spring" and the region's unique destinations.
The German federal government has decided to extend the lockdown to contain the pandemic until March 2021. Many of our cruise destinations have also taken measures that severely limit international vacation travel until spring.
Therefore, unfortunately, all trips originally planned from March 6th to March 19th, 2021 inclusive, cannot take place. We thank all guests concerned for their understanding.

"All guests whose trip cannot be carried out as originally planned will be informed immediately by SMS or e-mail. Please understand that bookings are processed chronologically according to the departure date and can therefore take some time.
It is very important to us to enable our guests to enjoy the long-awaited AIDA vacation at a later date. We are happy to offer you the option of rebooking another trip from our diverse travel portfolio by March 31, 2021. We thank you for this with an attractive on-board credit."
The down payments already made and the services already booked on MyAIDA will be credited in full according to the selected payment method.
